World Health Day

On 7th April every year WHO celebrates 7th April as world health day since 1950 and every year theme is announced as in 2023 the theme is Health fof all.We all know that lakistan is signatue of SDGS where universal health coverage is also an important land mile stone to be achieved. For achieving health for all first wd look how much HCPS are in pakistan to meet the needs.According WHO 2.5 medical staff (physicians,Nurses,and midwives) are required / 1000 people while acvording to world bank data published in March 2023 it is 1,1179. There is acute shortage of doctors .some data shows 230000 registerd doctors out of which 110000 are female and 60% of these females do not lractice due to family problems. one data shows that 25000 doctors has legt pakistan.No matter in pakistan always data accuracy issue remains. At this time what is responsibility of govt just hold the banners infront of hospitals take photographs and send to higher authoritied Where are our health education officerd whose responsibility is to raise awareness in communities schools. where are lhws who were inducted for door step primary health care awareness but they are only for polio. We have to go and penetrate in communities if not the officials should be held accountable for utilizing health education budget. we are facing double birden of disease both communicable and non communicable there fore instead of photography sesdions will have to keep right persons for right job on right time.
