INDIVIDUAL ROLE TO DECREASE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION/GLOBAL WARMING

Now a days the whole world is facing challanges due to Climate change & Global Warming and no doubt as being an under developed Country Pakistan is paying more in terms of excessive floods, droughts,Melting Glaciers resulting food insecurity. As an individual every one has responsibility in both increasing the pollution and should feel to take steps to decrease on if not larger scale but by small contributions even without expending money. For every thing why we should not look in Government as residents we have responsibilities for our coming generations .As if every on will clean his own space the whole space will be cleaned. The Government is only for passing BILLS but not intrested to implement as according to Express Tribune 20 May 2022, the Manufacture,Sale & use of Polythene bags was banned as theses can not only increase the garbage ,but clogg the sewage lines and when burnt cause air pollution. The Statics are very alarming,as currently an estimated 11 million tons of plastic is entering in Oceans which not only harming the Marine life but indirectly Human Health . The Plastic is not Biodegradable and splits in Microplastics which through Air,Food ,Water even skin is entering the the body but one research has shown that it is found not only all Visceras but the Placenta of Newborn as chemicals in the plastic are so much harmful that not only cause Endocrine Disoeders,Reproductive Abnormalities even Cancer. Now it is time to take prompt action to save environment as in 2018 China has banned to import waste to protect Environment and recyclying of Plastic waste is very low even in Economically advanced countries like USA where it is only 9% though these developed countries are producing more plastic waste which is flowing to less developed countrieswhere waste management is less. With few small steps we can reduce like as we have observed increased use of plastic in last 70 years,No soubt it is used in life saving Medical Devices even used for long life storage of food but single use plastics are producing more pollution it can be replaced by reusable for example single use bottles can be replaced by low cost reusable it will save million of rupees . Avoid Plastic Straws use bamboo or can take drinks directly. Avoid disposable shopping bags for Grocery and replace it with cloth bags or paper bags or those woven at villages by women at home from some grass material.By promoting this we will provide some economic relief to women at home (Leave Comfort Zone). As I remember that when ever we used to go for shopping we always took some colored Plastic washable bags or Cloth Bags even we used to travel in public transport either Buses or Rikshaws but no one felt shame but now in personal vehicles in comfort zone do not remember . In Indian TV Serials they are promoting these bags even for purchasing vegetables from cart outside the home or in Markets then why our Media and Tv Serials can not do. we remember that in every house there was some Utensil initialy of Silver latter replaced with Stain less Steel for Milk .Why now it is skipped and milk is brought in plastic bag but finally for cooking is transferred in cooking utensil but now we feel shame to take that utensil outside. Similiarly the Yougurt was brought in some mud bowel or glass bowel but unfortunately it is also replaced by plastic shopper and then we transfer to some proper bowel. At least this we can stop. For Meat and other grocery paper envelopes of KHAKI color were used why now they are replaced with plastic.. To avoid discomfert for using the paper bags or steel utensils try to purchase from local shops so that they can be benifited also. Further every person should try to plant on some occassions and look after it by himself it is SADQA_JARIA. With these small steps with out expending we can protect our health and contribute in retaining safe climate.
