Pakistan, a country grappling with numerous crises, primarily economic, seems to be in dire need of bold steps to address its problems. Despite being aware of the practices followed by developed nations, we often fail to emulate their successes. One such area where we can make a significant change is the misuse of government vehicles.  It's a common sight to witness bureaucrats, including Assistant Commissioners, DCs, and even clerks and accountants, using government vehicles for personal purposes. These vehicles drop their occupants at the office, only to later be utilized by their drivers for activities unrelated to official duties. Ultrasound examinations during pregnancy serve various crucial purposes. These scans measure the head, abdomen, and femur to estimate the current fetal weight. They also determine the fetal heart rate and employ Doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow in the umbilical artery, thereby checking placental function. More important EDD can be estimated as many women forget their LMP and this helps also to monitor growth of baby.  EARLY ULTRASOUND In early pregnancy, typically around seven weeks after a missed period, ultrasounds are recommended, especially for women with a history of miscarriages. And as the heart beat is developed in seven weeks therefore early ultrasound is recommended .They help confirm the pregnancy's location (intrauterine or ectopic) and whether it is a single or multiple gestation.
